Life Changing Porcelain Veneers

This case that spanned 2021 and was completed in 2022. The patient is a beautiful young woman who was born without upper lateral incisors (congenitally missing), and as a result, had k9 teeth moved into her lateral tooth position. The journey began with gum recontouring - in order improve the patients “gummy smile”. Ten upper Cosmetic porcelain crowns & veneers were created and her smile was transformed! Needless to say, she was AMAZED at the result!

We completed this case in the summer of 2021 and it was one of the most dramatic before/after examples of 2021. Needless to say - the patient was thrilled! I love seeing the big, beaming smiles patients have after they see their final result. This case consisted of 20 ultra high quality porcelain crowns. The patient original teeth were not only stained, chipped and worn down; but the front 2 were tipped back (retroclined). The shape, length, color and character of the crowns were all chosen specifically to create a life-like natural looking smile. The treatment time took about 2 months (4 appointments) from start to finish and completely transformed the patients smile!

Crooked & Worn Down Teeth

This was a special case for me - completed in 2022. A lifelong family friend had finally decided that she wanted to get her smile back. She cared for her teeth diligently but year after year she became more self conscious about her crooked and worn down teeth. She didn’t smile big in family photos and wanted to make a change. The plan was fairly straightforward and simple: whiten all the teeth with our top notch “Kor” professional whitening program, and then complete porcelain crowns on the front 4 teeth. The results were life changing. She was beaming the day we finished the case! The crowns are so natural, they are indistinguishable from her natural teeth. The hallmark of crowns made at Ivory…beautiful, natural looking smiles!

Dental Tooth Bonding

If you are unhappy with chipped/broken teeth or simply want to add length to teeth - dental bonding may be a great choice for you! With dental teeth bonding we use composite or “tooth colored” resin to restore teeth. This resin composite glues to your existing enamel. It is a very conservative/reversible procedure that is often completed in one visit without the need for anesthetic! The aesthetics are amazing and the restorations can be long lasting! The before/after photo you see is a great example of what composite restorations can do to make “ok” teeth look great! The patient wanted their broken and uneven front teeth “bonded”. We also added composite to the adjacent lateral incisors in order to make them look longer. The result is an amazing smile created without having to grind away any tooth structure! Needless to say - the patient was very pleased!

Worn Teeth + Ceramic Crowns

One of the most joyous occasions in our dental practice is the day we finish cosmetic dental cases. Patient are so excited to see their new smile. We have become know around the metro for our expertise in cosmetic dentistry and complex restorative dentistry. We partner with the best ceramists and labs to make sure that our crowns and veneers are life-like and beautiful. This case was one of my favorites from 2020…it was truly life changing! We completed 8 crowns across the front teeth and were able to make our patients smile natural yet strikingly beautiful. She was SO pleased!

Teeth Bonding and New Crowns

Sometimes patients seek out our help to improve on dentistry they had earlier in their lives. They seek us out because of our practice focus and experience specifically with cosmetic dental cases. This case involved in an obvious tooth shape/size problem with tooth #7. The implant crown that was placed 15 years ago was just too big. It was too gray, and there was a basic “disharmonty” in the smile. By using composite teeth bonding to modify the space and reshape the adjacent teeth - we were able to create a beautiful new porcelain implant crown the fit our patients smile!

Invisalign & Teeth Whitening

This was a really fun case that highlights several cosmetic dentistry treatment options in a single case. The patient came to use with chipping, discolored and worn down front teeth. In order to restore length to the front teeth, we first had to correct the bite in order to make room for the new front tooth shape. We complete invisalign and then the patient went though a 2 week course of our professional Kor Whitening system (one of our specialties!)…we then were able to add composite bonding to the front tooth! Things turned out amazing and the patient LOVES his new smile!

Composite Bonding
